FAQ

Everything you might want to know before you rent your Take Two camcorder.

What comes in the bag?

A vintage Panasonic SDR-S26 camcorder, a backup camera in case a vintage one acts up, an extra battery, a return shipping label so sending it home is easy, and simple instructions for you and your guests.

How does it work?

Check your wedding date, book your weekend, and we ship the bag to you before the wedding. Hand the camcorder to your guests, your bridesmaids, your grandpa. Pack it back up with the return label after the weekend. Then we turn what they captured into two vertical social edits, made for you.

When do I get it, and when does it go back?

Your rental covers the days around your wedding, from two days before to one day after. For a Saturday wedding that means Thursday through Sunday. If your wedding falls on a Friday or any other day, the window moves with it.

What do I get edited?

Two vertical social edits, cut from the footage your guests capture. Want more? Add a 3-5 minute wedding video for $450.

Can I add a Point & Shoot Camera?

Yes. A Point & Shoot Camera is available as an add-on for $100, for another look at your wedding weekend.

What is the security deposit?

We charge a refundable $200 deposit at checkout. We refund it in full once the cameras are back and checked.

Do my guests need to know how to use it?

Not at all. Simple instructions come in the bag, and the camcorder is point and press. Part of the charm is that nobody can overthink it.

What if my date is booked?

We only have three kits, so popular weekends fill up. Use Check Your Date to see what is open, or reach out through our contact page and we will help you find a way to make it work.

What if something gets lost or damaged?

Everyday wear is expected. If a camera is lost or damaged, repair or replacement costs may be taken from your deposit. Details are in our Terms.
